There is one small lake on Vancouver island thats stocked with Brookies ,but its heavily fished and are not at all like a B.T. from a cold water lake or stream......

Not a ''fan'' of the long shots, thats for PAPER PUNCHERS.......if one is looking to kill something, why not get to within a minimum of 400-450 yards....That to me is still a long shot............
mabe as one gets older, you think more about taking ''questionable shots at long...

I presume you mean 7mm mag......although we have a long wolf season up here, I know of no one who targets them....they are most often taken while hunting lions with hounds or ''popped'' by black bear hunters.........there is quite a hatred by island black-tail deer hunters for wolves...
