Late season Wyoming Muleys.
Eating Whitetail...and Elk, applying for Sheep (finally drew and got one in '19). Applying for moose...just not a fan of mule deer as table fare. The last one I killed in '92 was that rank, he was laying down, sick and wounded from a fight. -

Well my son wanted to hunt mule deer this fall instead of Whitetail, so I put us in for area 128 by Dubois, party application, so of course we both drew. Ignorance is bliss as it turns out this is a choice late season tag. I've got friends in town, so we have a place to anchor the fifth... -

Went to the Up in arms gun show (SLC circuit show) 25% of tables had actual shooting products...those that did had @60.00# powder and 200.00/k primers. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.- GoWyo!

Here's my latest. Unfired Sako AV .338wm. Unsure what optics it's going to wear. I have a 1.75x6 and a 2.5x8 sitting on the bench. -

Howdy all, I'm a big fan of the .338 (getting bigger working from home). I've had good luck with Nosler 200gr. BT's and 210 gr. Partitions over VV N165 out of my Sako AV. This rifle has the oem 23.5" tube. I just bought another Sako but in the full stock or Kokotukki AV. It has a 18.5"...- GoWyo!

Maybe I'm the one who's nuts... thoughts on the great ammo & reloading run of '21
Many of us have been thru these oscillations in availability and pricing. They do hinge on who is in office, whether you like it or not. The problem is the pendulum has swung so hard that people fear it may have stuck. There is palpable fear that civil discourse is gone, that this country is...- GoWyo!

M1A Scout ( sold )
It is. I have an M1A-A1 folder that I put in a laminated Fajen stock. Much better. The 18" bbl is quite handy. The scout has the forward mounted rail.- GoWyo!

I don't know Pam, the last pair of rams in the snow look very similar to the pair you snapped on 11/27. Especially the big one, he seems to flare out more than the road killed ram.- GoWyo!

I was in Denver Thurs and Friday, was going to come home via the Canyon on Saturday, but opted to go home Friday night when I heard about 10-15" forecast. What did you end up getting? Great pix All.- GoWyo!
