So I bumped into a friend of mine yesterday,he told me that his son is going up to Alaska this fall to work as a moose packer, or Packer in general, but he focused on moose. Im wondering, with all the high paying oil field and fishery jobs, what can he expect to earn in a season or daily...
For some reason I thought there were 50 tags issued…🤦🏼♂️ there were 5 for type ones and 5 for type fours. Over 3000 applications, that should knock the pressure down a little bit. Edited: i was right, the five tags were the random draw quota.
27+ years of applying. It will be a little while for all of that snowpack to melt off before one can start scouting… not to mention they need to grow some antlers.
Nada. General elk and deer for us.1. Maybe. My son starts his Junior year at Laramie this fall. Gonna have to find somewhere close to there, it's only been 38 years...well, for deer and elk. (Note*- see avatar)
I guess you get what you pay for.
5 of 6 people in my close group didn't draw buck tags. Doe/fawn for a couple of them. My son and I drew diddly!! General season/area Elk and deer it is!
