SB 143, sponsored by Sen. Jason Ellsworth, R-Hamilton, passed the Senate Fish and Game committee on Thursday in a 7 to 4 vote. Senators Hertz, Keenan, Howard, Hinebauch, Blasdel and Brown joined Ellsworth in voting for the bill. It was amended to take the outfitter-sponsored tags to 39 percent. -
