Be safe and go with a 180. A thicker jacket will usually give more penetration as all shot chances are not ideal. -

What is the time limit when responding to a post before it is lost? Getting POed when I spend time responding and then get the "not qualified and have to sign in" which I did, again, but then all is lost. Plane crash in the Rockies
The weather was forecast the day before to expect 4-6" of snow. I drove over the pass about six hours before the plane went down, it was snowing then. There is a 24 hour camera on Lost Trail Pass that shows weather conditions on the net.- Bill Zent

To answer your question correctly it would be nice to know a few details. What animals will you be hunting, primary and secondary? What do you use for camp, trailer, motel, base camp tent or spike camp? How far from a road/vehicle do you plan to hunt? Those are for starters as clothing/boot...- Bill Zent
