Sounds like that is the way to cook javelina. My ex tried cooking it once and it was not good, but then she had trouble boiling water so down the road she went.
Tinfoil for cooking, instant coffee, telescoping 7' rod for catching trout and a quiver full of assorted arrows for getting other grub. Have had to eat rattlesnake, porcupine, grouse, etc before/if not bagging a buck.
My "college of learning" was being outside almost daily observing habits of animals and/or hunting them. A person can learn a lot when living in an area surrounded by big game. No need to waste time in a so called place of higher learning.
