So you have to unweave the straps down by the belt and the shoulder straps? Got it to work, just wasn't thinking you would have to do that a total of 4 times. I like the layout of how you do it on the marshall better as shown in the video Boomerusaf shared.
How in the world do you use the load shelf on the new Metcalf. The MR video on you tube has slightly different shoulder straps where the clip off where i would have to unweave the straps and the gohunt loadself video shows a marshal that has a clip on the frame he undoes last that the met calf...
How do you guys handle game bags after the kill. Obviously throw the meat in and pack it out but what about once you get to the truck?
Do you throw the meat directly in your cooler with the game bag or without?
If without, it it fine to just rinse and dry them out then use them for your camps...
I loved on the first episode Randy says "I guarantee you will laugh watching this hunt series". My wife watch the first episoded and said "laugh on a hunting show?". She watched the 3rd episode with my and she started laughing at something. I said see randy was right, you would laugh.
Coming from someone who has never hunting antelope, I always hear abot people playing the terrain to avoid their great eye sight. I don't hear anything with the wind regarding a antelope stalk. Is it necessary to play the wind for antelope?
Does anyone on here purchase points for themselves to hunt every few years, then purchase points for thier wife with her only going once every 6 to 10 years? So when you have 0 points, you and the wife take a trip with essentially 3 to 5 points a piece?
I have one as well. Love it, but long and hard to park in tight parking lots. Hard to find as well. I am puzzled why more manufacturers aren't making a 4 door 6.5' box. Everyone I talk to seems to favor this.
I purchased mine like that and fixed it right away. Not sure how long the guy before me drove with it. I had mine fixed for around $500-600 in central MN. Definitely was not $1200.
There are forums galore on back pack meals, about some good old original camp meals. Whats your favorites, easiests, or most convenient camp meals? This is excluding all "backpack" meals.
Based on this thread it seems like 10 ply is the general consensus. I dont know much about ply except that it is thicker and less prone to flats. Are these more expensive or noiser than let say 8 ply?
Thinking about what the best option is for backpacking water. I am learning toward nalgeen bottles versus a water bladder, but wanted to hear you guys thoughts. Vote on the poll or leave you thoughts.
