    Seats/Pads

What does everyone use for a seat/pad? Interested in hearing the different ideas. I've heard of guys using car mats, garden pads, cut up sleeping pads, etc. I want to get a take on what I would think would be the most comfortable, yet easy to pack seat there is.

    Marsupial Bino Harness

I was set on purchasing the Marsupial bino harness, then I listened to the recent Rokslide bino harness podcast, which brought up not being 100% enclosed with the sides being open allowing dust/dirt/snow in. I never realized this but is a very good point that is making me second guess. Has...

    EOY '19 - What Worked, What Didn't?

Worked -Liner socks matched with merino wool socks: eliminated any hot spots and helped wick moisture -Uninsulated boots: My feet always got cold. I thought for many years I needed more isulated boats. I heard or saw a video, not sure where, that they had the same thought process. They then...

    Heel Blister Help

As others mentioned, try a liner sock. The friction goes between your liner sock and outer sock. Eliminates the friction on your heel. Also, kinda strange you started getting blisters 3 days into your hunt after using them quite a bit before hand it sounds like. Think to your self what is...

    Need layering help

I am looking for input on a mid weight layering option. I searched the thread and it seams like the sitka timberline or patagonia houdini are popular options. So the main use would be in the 25 to 35 degree weather walking around. Please keep this in mind. I currently run a First lite kiln...

How to use the load self MR Metcalf

Found it on the site. You are supposed to unweave 4 straps plus 6 buckles. Not a very good design imo.

How to use the load self MR Metcalf

So the two straps don't undo, directly above the small pocket and rifle butt sleeve? If I don't undo rhose I can't pull the pack over the frame Is there any video or instructions on this?? Ive looked and everything out there is different layout or old design.
