Some Signs of Spring
Went to check feeders, start putting out cotton seed for the deer, n new batteries in the cameras. Heard some gobbling on a flat near me n found these jakes. Not the best pics but not bad for the phone -

She shot okay…1.25”….with multiple shots….wasn’t really doing “3shot groups” I was breaking in the barrel…w cleanings in between 1 shot put to 9 shots….then every third for the following 15…shot 6 at 50yds n touched holes…15 at 100yds 1.25”…..3 at 200yds 3”+ Barrel was pretty hot by the end... -

Gruene Hall is not that far from there…check who’s playing….n check it out….lots of big names have been through there n it’s a very small venue…..well worth the trip if ur near…n on a side note, the front of the dance hall came from the little general store in Rio Medina TX where most all my...- JV842

Utopia, Fredericksburg, Comfort in the Hill Country. Castroville isn’t “Hill Country” but has a lot nice little shops; west of SA. Seguin, Gruene (great dance hall n restaurants) n New Braunfels in between SA n Austin- JV842

Scope leveled n bore sighted…ran a brush n some patches down the bore….she was spotless….no carbon anywhere Wrkn ot tomorrow…hopefully range on Friday n start to break in the barrel
