    You are lucky, generally it is the other way around. She will start ranging soon enough, and as said above you really need to watch your dog and start reading her as chucks will not hold forever,espeically this time of year. In chuckar country not many hunters have enough lung to make it 200...

    AAAAAA+++++ on the Butler bags. Have had one for years . The flannel layering system is great and the bag is spacious ,like sleeping at home. Have been sleeping in the desert in Jan and Feb ,toasty warm. They are not cheap but not Chink either. USA alll the way

    Hunting buddy has a 3 year old Gordon setter that is a great dog to be around. He got her second hand from an older couple that had health issue and could not keep her anymore. She has a great nose and points solid but when you shoot she returns to you ,then will not start hunting again for up...

    Have raised dogs for 50 years and have never had this issue? The dogs with issues whether family freinds or neighbers have been due to the owners,spoiled and no obedience . Puppies are cute then the newnice wears off. Just my .002

    The very best dog I have owned was a LAB/GSP. cost me $55 and was easy to train (If you do your part). If the parents are great hunters and everything heath whys Is up to date go for it.
