Back to town today for a quick shower and thought I'd throw up some pics of my bear before the big one taken last night gets posted and makes mine look like a corn fed harvest mouse. I shot this bear at high noon at 70 degrees while cutting firewood for camp. I can't believe with all the noise...

I think making a general statement on where to find bears is difficult, it changes with conditions and can vary greatly year to year. One thing is consistent find whatever they are feeding on and glass, glass, glass.
In the spring where I hunt I look for green grass, in the fall it's berries...

Starting about April 27-28 I'm going to live in the woods for two or three weeks. One of those rare times in life when I'm free to do as I please. I can't wait.
