    Fixing social security

That article is total bullshit. The SS system reserves are in Treasury bonds!! Taking out of one pocket to put in the other pocket! THERE IS NO TRUST FUND. It's an accounting entry, cash in and cash out. And, I believe that when they calculate your benefit when you retire, you only get credit...

    Fixing social security

It's funny you mention that. About 10 years ago, when I was about to retire, I ran through an exercise to see what rate of return I would have needed to receive over the 40+ years I paid into the system to get the payment I was promised. I counted my actual contributions and also my employer...

    .338 Win Mag Ammo??

Thanks but not ready for that. Ive bought 6 different kinds of factory ammo late last year for my new-to-me Browning BAR with a new scoop on it. Don't know what bullet type or brand shoots best in it yet. Waiting for a calm day to go try them out. I actually have a friend of mine that is an FFL...

    .338 Win Mag Ammo??

For somebody who has reloaded before, it always sounds simple. I have 6 different rifle calibers and probably 10 pistol calibers. Even of I restrict myself to the rifle calibers, it is a ton of upfront time investment. And a ton of costly mistakes with ammo burned up. Sounds easier than in...

    .338 Win Mag Ammo??

I just don't have the patience nor the time to reload ammo.

    .338 Win Mag Ammo??

I just thought of something, Alec Baldwin may have a lot of time on his hands in the future. Maybe I can get him to reload me some .338 & .300 win mag in his soon to be new residence. Whatchathink?

    .338 Win Mag Ammo??

I looked on the Federal site and they want $80/box for .300 win mag & $105/box for .338 win mag. Why not just gouge my eyeballs out. Unfortunately, we'll have this dipstick in the white house another 4 years. Voting is useless. I will end up paying $105 and be thankful I got some.

    .338 Win Mag Ammo??

    .338 Win Mag Ammo??

    Selling on Gunbroker

That stock answer is with all these scum internet companies. They just want to unload their crap. If there's a problem, it's your problem not theirs. Customer friendly, right? Irritates the piss outta me. That's America these days. A bunch of users. They all bury their phone number so you have...

Stolen Rifle Recovered 15 years later

Make sure you take pics of the rifle before and after the restoration so it's all documented. Have a picture book to go along with the rifle. And make a gold plaque or have it engraved with stolen on such & such a date and the recovery date.

    Black Bear Attack

https://triblive.com/local/regional/im-going-to-die-woman-recounts-bear-attack-in-her-butler-twp-backyard/ Mistake: you are feeding the bears in a county known to have black bears (not a lot, but they take bears in this county during the bear season). You have a bear hitting the bird feeder and...

Grazing fees, the economics of elk and cattle

A debt crisis WOULD cause a huge recession. Recessions start because of excesses in the real or financial sides of the economy or both. Real excesses in the past: Oil, Technology/the internet in 1999, Housing in 2008 off the top of my head. Financial excesses: tight monetary policy, financial...

Grazing fees, the economics of elk and cattle

I think there is an easier way. A debt crisis, where the govt is not allowed to print money, issue debt/bonds to the chinese and any foreign country, and no yard/garage sale of our national parks, oil & gas rights, fishing rights (or any of our national public assets the bum politicians can sell...

Grazing fees, the economics of elk and cattle

I dont know what the answer is. I'm a Libertarian, so I'm more for the marketplace providing the solution. Part of me says, hell, we subsidize the shit out of tobacco, milk, chips, illegal aliens, old people, the healthcare industry, the defense industry, the teachers union, etc. etc. etc...
