    Sometimes, there are more hunters than elk... ;) Depends on what kind of experience you want. I still hunt there off and on, but I've called in more hunters than elk (CRAP!). I wish they would limit it like the White River section. Good Luck

    There are elk in all units west of I25. The only problem with 63- elk move to private land and the national monument very quickly. Will there still be elk on public?- yes.

    Actually, this tag can be drawn with 0 points for residents... It's my back yard. I've seen 2nd season tags go as high as $1,200 and as low as, of course, free. 3rd season tags are worth a little more money.

    Thank you! We ate the ones we kept- deboned them, pounded them out, stuffed them with a plum jam, and wrapped them with bacon. I love rabbit, it was just concerning with the spots. Would tularemia have a specific color or pattern of spots?
