Definitely one of my more accurate rifles - easily shoots 147gr ELD-M under .50 MOA. The 143gr ELD-X are just as accurate out of the barrel as well. Did a post last year on the forum showing a 2.75" group at 600 meters with this rifle. About 90 rounds shot through it. I'll post it here and give...
I have one in 300 WSM and I agree on them being well balanced. Great for the long shot or the quick jump shot when stalking through timber. It's a solid 1 inch rifle no matter what I shoot through it, maybe .75 on a good day. Definitely my go to backpacking rifle for Elk.
I honestly think 99% of all entertainment pushed out there is just garbage/ cannon fodder. I am really excited to see the new Topgun though. The first one was a big part of my early childhood and was one of the first movies above a "G" rating that I remember my parents letting me watch...
Just a follow up... I ended up shopping around a little bit more and was able to find a credit union out of Minneapolis and they gave me 4.9% on a 12 year. Should have it paid off well before that though.
Signed the loan documents today and now just have to wait on the dealership to prep the...
We just started switching our baby to formula now that mom can't produce much anymore. Thankfully our baby also just started eating more solid food right about the time we noticed the formula shelves going bare. Even our daycare facility is having a hard time now.
We sure have some f'ed up...
Empty chamber 90% of the time. I'll chamber a round and unsling my rifle when I'm slipping through thick timber that has a lot of sign or when I'm on a stalk and have a good idea of where an animal is.
Back in the late 90's I remember getting the 500 round bricks of lead Winchester ammo at Walmart for 7.99. I always got them as stocking stuffers or as part of my Easter basket as a kid. I also remember going to the back of the pasture and shooting a tree in half just for the hell of it one day...
I couldn't catch a Musky if I tried. Only one I ever caught was on a Walleye rig while jigging on the Wisconsin River. Hell of a fight, and once I got him into the boat, the fight started all over again.
Anybody get a new boat recently? Currently getting financing options for a new Tracker Pro Team 175 TXW. I Actually found one at a dealership here in WI and put a deposit down. The out-the-door price is $28k with the current setup. Not sure what I'm going to put down just yet and I really have...
What a cute dog. Always a win when you have a lab that is so patient in the house. I just sent my 6 month old Brit to the trainer, otherwise I'd consider driving to Utah for that one. Hope she finds a good home!
Hard to find silver color. This is the discontinued model from a few years ago (not HD). Great shape- only one minor scuff mark from the rings (pictured).
Don't need it anymore; rifle it was mounted on has since become a project rifle. Maybe this could help fund part of that project.
Asking...
I've been switching most of my hunting rifles over to all copper. I feel better not eating microscopic lead fragments or feeding it to my family. Plus, I don't think I've ever shot a more accurate bullet than the Hammer. Also, the velocity you are allowed to push them to will usually match or...
