Thanks to everyone for some good input on here. I went out and shouldered some more shotguns today. Tried some different ones too... Winchester SX4, Beretta A300, and some more SBE3's.
The SBE3 beat them all by far in terms of feel and fit. I really wish I could have found an M2 to look at, but...
You guys have me thinking about the m2 now. If I can find a newer one, I'd like to shoulder that. Guess they kind of modeled them after the Ethos line, like the SB3. I'm wondering if it would feel/ point similar to the SB3
Anybody here have one or used one? Looking for a new semi-auto for upland hunting. I've been looking at different manufacturers, including Franchi and Berretta, but the SB3 just feels the best.
I know they are marketed more towards the waterfowl crowd (which I am not), so wondering if anyone...
I have a 6-24x50 V-4 on my 6mm Creedmoor build. It's by far my favorite piece of glass. Definitely the clearest too. I have Trijicon, Leupold, Athlon, Tract and Vortex optics, but the Zeiss is definitely my top choice for that price range. Trijicon is a close 2nd for me.
Anybody ever use the Montana Hunting Access app for bird hunting? I'm wondering how it compares to OnX. Taking my Brittany on his first out of state trip this September and I've started scouting areas that look "birdy" on OnX. Just wondering if the Access app is worth the $10?
Will be going for...
Yep. Only takes 2 or 3 minutes to warm up the box. Add some carpet for my bare feet and I'm cozy in the morning.
Just make sure you don't burn your bag on the heater.
Count your blessings and your digits. Back in 2007 I got my thumb crushed in a tank hatch while serving in the Army. My thumb no longer works and cold/ damp days serve as a throbbing reminder. Hopefully you get your nail back. Ouch.
ND seems to be very proactive when it comes to managing their deer herd- especially compared to some neighboring states. Glad to see they are not afraid to cut tag numbers when it's needed. Hopefully the deer will bounce back in a few years.
