A little humour for your day
I married into a family with several very good looking women (including my wife of course).... I usually just look at the ground during family reunions.... 😆 -
Question for those who have rebarreled a rifle...
My guess is usually people get rifles rebarrelled because the original one shot terrible. So most of the time they are tossed anyway. If you want it back, I'd definitely ask. Might be pretty marred up depending how they clamped down on it to remove it though. -

September 1st Montana upland opening, who, what, where?
This will be year three for Chief and I. Not sure what I'm looking forward to more... watching my best friend point and retrieve birds for me or just sitting at truck camp watching deer as the sun sets while I sip a glass of scotch with him.- coleslaw

Any load data on that 60gr V-Max? Just got my barrel delivered in a 1-9 twist and will be doing load work soon. Starting with the 62gr ELD-VT and hoping it will work, otherwise the 60gr is my backup.- coleslaw

Doing a 5R heavy varmint barrel from Preferred Barrel Blanks. I bought a brand new Rem 700 in 6.5 CM that I found on sale for $399 at a local store specifically so I could strip it down to the bare action for this project. Once the barrel comes in I'm sending it to Kampfeld Custom to have it...- coleslaw

270 Weatherby, yea or neigh?
I have a .257 that I picked up specifically for MD and possibly Pronghorn. Loading 90gr Hammers at 3950fps so it's a laser. A .270 bee should be plenty fun and perfect for Elk. And it's a snub to all the newer .277 and .284 cartridges that are being rolled out now. -
