If it’s through a credit union you’re probably looking at 5-6.50% for 10-15 years. I wouldn’t even waste your time with a bank because you’re likely not going to get the longer amortization. I work at a bank and I encourage people to go to CU for boats and rvs.
Not questioning it at all. Just curious what drives those that hunt bears to do it. I’ve just never had the desire to do it. Just like I have no desire to go hunt Africa. Just me though. Don’t think that by not hunting bears makes me any less of a “Hunter.” If it does, guess I’m not as...
Having grown up in Montana and hunting deer and elk, I’ve never hunted bear. Never really had the urge to as I’ve never had the meat before. I’m curious, what drives hunters to bear hunt, specifically spring bear? I’m obviously not opposed to it, but just curious as to what motivates people to...
I archery hunted 410 last year. Extremely dry and tough hunting. Did not see near the amount of elk I saw in 2020. If we don’t get a lot of moisture, definitely focus your efforts near the river. Good luck.
I’m very familiar with those. They won’t have 2022 odds until way later in the year. That’s what I’ve used to roughly estimate my draw odds based on my bonus points for years.
I spoke to Hank on the phone tonight. According to him this is what happened….the “system” that was used during the application period is the “old system” which incorrectly allowed people to apply for more than one choice if they applied for a “first choice only” permit as their first choice...
Don’t know what this years odds are but I can make a reasonable guess based on prior years draw odds. They also post odds of last year in this years current regs, although they don’t account for bonus points and R/NR status
So now if 100 people got “kicked out” of the draw because of their incompetence, those 100 will have a chance at 35 additional permits (411-20 numbers), so 35% odds if bonus points aren’t included…better odds than the regular draw! Even better odds if that number is less. What a complete joke.
Curious if anybody has experience with these? Picked up a box of 180gr Norma Bondstrike ammo for my 300wsm today to try. I know Norma brass is pretty good quality, but have not seen full factory ammo from them until now. From what I quickly researched it’s a bonded bullet.
Thanks.
Can you share which unit? I don’t remember there being any units “shut down” for hunting last year, but could be mistaken. I know a lot of block management participants elected not to open their property due to fire risk but if FWP completely shut down hunting in a unit that’s news to me. Was...
