Hope it works out for you. Some of the responses are head scratchers, IMO. If it’s a recent purchase, Any dealer worth a chit will take care of you. If you have a new tv that doesn’t work, you take it back to Best Buy. You don’t deal with Samsung. If I buy a brand new scope and it doesn’t hold...
Worked:
-Thin merino gloves from Kuiu. Hard to believe something so thin cloud keep hands warm in snow and cold. Plan to use as a liner with more substantial mittens during extended glassing sessions.

Just finished Sapiens....A Brief History of Humankind. One of the most thought provoking books I have ever read. Just starting Crazy Horse and Custer by Stephen Ambrose. Not super motivated by it. May have to pick one of the selections mentioned in this thread.

Hard to believe it’s been nearly 3yrs since I posted this. Even more difficult to believe our boy was just diagnosed with lymphoma. Started chemo on Monday. Praying the treatment goes well. My girls are so attached and we have many more hunts to go on together.
I think Ross pretty much covered everything. I will echo the following:
Rifle scabbard. The salt spray was impossible to manage regardless of how much lube I put on the rifle. Breathable waders with a good boot were awesome. I wish I had those longer neoprene gloves with the Velcro wrist...
A guy at the Game Fair in Anoka told me to take the dog’s weight at 16 weeks and double it to get the weight of your dog fully grown. That has proven accurate for my almost 3y/o lab.
