Update.... The big guy has vanished. I passed on two bulls, one mid 40's and one upper 30's. Moose movement is little with the hot weather, and most of the bulls seem to still be in velvet. I might regret passing the one bull as he was a really good bull that I think most people would have...- sneakem

A little intermission from the moose hunting… Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I also have a super great elk tag totally overlapping my moose tag, for which I have done Zero scouting…🤣 Went out for a couple days, passed a bunch of bulls, including this guy 50 yards from the truck, standing broadside...- sneakem

Pretty sure the big boy and others have left the county for greener pastures. The sheep have done a number on the moose habitat for several miles around… Time to find something else somewhere else.🤷🏽♂️- sneakem

Just curious when your season opened? In my experience here it's a 50/50 here on the opener, maybe a week after they rub they start to wander. I'm not super optimistic that he'll stay put, but if he does, I won't hesitate to put a hole in him. It's not the end all if so, there are...- sneakem

Mostly nocturnal still with the heat and no weather to speak of. Makes it really tough to locate bulls as they disappear during the day. Most of camera action is midnight and there are moose but they pass the cameras at that 60-100 foot range and its hard to discern much other than they are...- sneakem

Change in dynamics going on right now, little more tension rising in the bachelor groups. Haven't seen the big bull in over 10 days. Going to give it a few more days to turn him up, then go search the way I saw him headed last... Can't imagine the hundreds of sheep and several dogs that...- sneakem
