For the record... This hunt happened in September. While Dink certainly has a penchant for literary gold, he certainly isn't prompt with the delivery of the saga, it takes time to create a masterpiece... His style is much like Taylor Sheridan's, great story telling, rarely finishes a story...
I'll give a go at the ghost writing....
So then the giant bool strolls out of the trees. I'm shaking so hard my arrow drops to the ground and bounces off my lucky Keens. I regroup and send an arrow true.... Success!

The end beotches...:ROFLMAO:
Just a funny thought I might share…as I was looking through photos I stumbled across this…. On all my hunting/fishing trips I have little video cameos that I like to call “nuggets of truth”. Just silly/stupid moments I record in the heat of the moment…
I have quite the collection of stupid...
I think it's a product of the high bull to cow ratio in this area, lots of big bulls fighting for few cows. Lots of the larger bulls had broken points, beams during rifle. Both 3rd's and the sword are larger than a golf ball where they are broke though, he's likely missing 13-14 inches of...

Continuing this on from the moose thread…. Abbreviated version. So the moose hunt ate up a good amount of time from this tag, which I originally planned to bowhunt more than anything. I only had a few days to bowhunt, but had some incredible opportunities and passed a few bulls bigger than I...
What blows my mind is 1 person turned the tag in and 5 idiots refused the tag to make it to this point... and they had the entire 30 day season to hunt...
Someone deserves a Darwin award
Like said, it's not a gun you just sit down on a bench and enjoy shooting over and over. Like anything, it has a purpose, fantastic caliber for killing just about anything of size. Recoil is manageable with good shooting form and a good recoil pad. The recoil has a tendency to rock up and...
I'd be willing to bet that the majority of the unsuccessful goat hunters are the product of not having what it takes to get to the goats or the balls to get there.
Goats are not the brightest of animals, they lick pee off rocks....;)
