When they say above timberline, its actually elevation (11K feet). If it's different they specify in the regulations the elevation, or note that its only valid in wilderness areas or both of the above. -

I think that it will increase substantially, most dedicated sheep freak applicants love to jump on the big sheep bandwagon. Happens every time someone kills a big ram. Draw odds have always been favorable in those Southern units, likely not as much anymore... As far as big rams... I don't...- sneakem

Just thought I would share a couple photo's from AZ. Killed a decent coues buck with the gun, stuck around for the archery hunt. Chased a big one with the bow but he lives until next year. Stuck a chorizo pigs and shared a couple days in the field with some good friends. Interesting... -

Real temp was -42F in Maybell, -39F in Craig, -20's in Steamboat. More than enough snow to do damage, on par with '08. Snow is 5 foot on the level in my yard in Steamboat, Craig the snow is near the top strand of the barbed wire... -

Wouldn't it be a novel idea to make people apply for actual hunts in order to receive points. No refunding of points once you draw. I'm sure that people would revolt if they couldn't plan years in advance but that's likely the reality of point creep with thousands of unknowns not applying...- sneakem
