    I made that hunt again in 2020 I think with 14 or 15 pp, I don’t remember exactly what year or the pp it took to draw. I must have found the worst outfitter in Colorado for the drop camp hunt. It was a hunt to forget.

    Colorado Draw Changes

    I was drawn a nr archery elk hunt in unit 76 in 2001 with 4pp, it will probably take close to 20 pp to draw this year for the same hunt.

    I will kill at least two cottonmouths in my yard and garden this summer and probably a copperhead or two. I am not scared of any of them as long as I can see them.

    I think that I understand staying up north, everything down here will bite you or it seems. I see gators almost every fishing trip. One thing that I see that you probably haven’t thought about is, I will see a half dozen road kill alligators this year.

    I just started doing some jug fishing last year, but my buddy that has jug fished for years tells me to always have a net at least under the fish before you bring it in. He says that the fish will have the bait in its mouth but the hook is not set.
