    Tried them out this afternoon. 8 shot group just over an inch. I'll take that. Bought another couple boxes. Load development done! :LOL: (I have a really good handload with 143gr HH's as well.) Having only one rifle would be weird, and no fun, but if so I think the 280 AI would be it for me.

    I think you're right. I bet I changed it to 0-1700 thinking it was going like a 22lr, when it's actually coming out at 2400fps. I will try it again soon and make sure I have that correct setting and see what happens.

    Graf’s has them in stock as of now. I bought a box to see how they shoot and if they stabilize in my 1:9 (800’ elevation). Strange that you can’t buy the 152gr LRX bullet as a component. Would hand roll if so.

    Decent. The ad for the TV spinoff playing nonstop on all the various Meateater podcasts kill me. “You may remember him as the smoldering brother on …” 😂 I don’t think their marketing team gave much thought to matching the pitch to the demographic.

    Calibres you'd like to own

    I shot both my 22-250 and 17hmr yesterday. Love both of them. I think the 17hmr is one of the best plinking/practice rimfire rounds there is. Great accuracy (if no wind) and ballistics 200 and under, great for developing good shooting habits. Buy a 3” gong, turn the scope power all the way down...

    280AI. 143gr Hammer Hunter @ 3060fps. Or .50cal muzzie with 300gr Barnes Expander. Or 175gr Grizzly Stick Samurai Single Bevel. The tag gods will decide.
