I thought it was interesting that CPW is considering adding a new pronghorn season. I’m not sure if that would be nice: because it’d spread out the number of hunters over multiple seasons and you’d see less people in the field.

If you pull up the draw recaps for each species, the first page shows everyone who applied that year. It might not be EVERYONE at that point level but it’s got to be pretty close, depending on how many people sat out that year and didn’t even put in for a point.
I’ve hunted 4&5 in 2nd/3rd seasons. Lots of elk, lots of elk on private. LOTS of hunters on the public. But it’s beautiful country, and some of my best hunting memories were made chasing elk in those areas.
