How big must a bull or buck be to mount?
We’ve never really based doing a mount off of size. If the animal is special to you, or there’s a fun story that the critter reminds you of then go for it. I mounted the first bull I ever shot which was a 5 pt raghorn. I’ve shot many bulls bigger than him now, but he’s still one of my favorites...- MTPUBLICLAND

Public lands trash packout
We have never seen so much garbage in the forest as last summer. Considerably worse than any year prior. Every campsite we went to was glass and plastics with fire pits full of garbage. Tire chains for truck
Seems like most new half tons don’t have room for chains comfortably in the front anymore. One of the main reasons I went the power wagon route, lockers plus tons of room for chains. I like a heavy duty chain with ice biters.- MTPUBLICLAND

Using game bags twice
We have 3 sets of each size bags that we use for when multiple animals get harvested in a short time period. Definitely wash your bags between uses. Only thing I have to add to what everyone else has said is that we soak the game bags inside out in a 5 gallon bucket with soap for about an hour...- MTPUBLICLAND

propane grill died...pellet grill?

Spotting Scope Thoughts
