You can, and it can get steep fast. There's a lot of private around too and some horsemen hunting, but it seemed like if you can get off the road a ways you wouldn't be into too many people. Some of the motor vehicle trails shown on OnX are big and decent enough for pickups.

There have been more and more grizzlies moving into Island Park. Seems like for the past few years there is at least one grizzly that has to be moved or at least IDFG has to warn folks about.

Yep, my bad on that one, I always understood that only the controlled hunts were capped, but the OTC's are capped as well. Thanks Fin, I guess that's the perk of being a resident, I usually don't have to dive so hard into those numbers!
