I have to agree with you. I grew up fishing and hunting the blackwater rivers and swamps of S.E. North Carolina and can take you to the oldest cypress in the country and there's little else that can compare to a stand of the old giants standing vigil for 2 thousand years or greater, up to 2624...- tarheel

North Platte River
Slow troll the canyon in Seminoe with an X4 or X5 green Flatfish with frog spots. Stick as close to the canyon walls as you can and be prepared for a burst of high wind on occasion. Failing that break out the nightcrawlers if legal.- tarheel

Im bowing out
I sold my 1970 built home in 1976 in Adams County just below Thornton, CO for $29,000. Current owner has added a couple of small rooms and so out of curiosity I checked it's estimated value a few weeks ago....$465,000! Absolutely insane.- tarheel
