2024 Southwest Oryx trip (NM)
This is my second time. Oryx is a very large animal with a lot of meat, and allows for a lot more meals. My wife enjoys it more than even elk, or pronghorn. Living in the east, she is not near as big of a fan of WT as she is the animals I have hunted out west.- WNC2500

Suggestions for a quail gun?
Ok, then my other option would be the other low country/hi-line gun that I have which is my 20 gauge Browning Citori O/U. Classic gun, and shoots amazing as well. I think you are wanting everyone to tell you why you need you a good O/U or SxS. I encourage it strongly. -

@R.K. I think I would agree with @fishing4sanity on the Browning Sweet 16. I have shot quail with it in lowcountry SC, and grouse and pheasant in MT. Great feeling/shooting gun. -
