    I have one box of each. 45-70 is federal hammer down. 41 mag is hsm bear load. Bought for someone and then they decided they didn't want it. $50 each plus shipping. Both cost me more than that.

    No problem. I haven't bought any 223 brass ever. Normally the price of the ammo is cheap and not worth the time reloading it.

    $50 for a bag of 500 range brass that has been cleaned spent primers still in the cases. He has 2 bags.

    H1000, IMR4064 even though I have plenty of both for awhile I have picked up a pound of different powders to try out and maybe I will find one that works better and is easier to get.

    Picked up some 7mm berger 140 grain vld hunting bullets. Trade for 6.5 hunting bullets around 140 grain. 2 boxes of 100 in each trade for the same.

    Answer is that ammo in New York requires a background check that has to be performed by a licensed ammo dealer or licensed gun dealer. So, no one can ship ammo directly to an individual. Talk about crazy. The dealer also has to keep a log of everything about the transaction. The caliber...

    Good question. I will look into that. There's a novel from the atf that has different requirements by state for selling and shipping to nonresident. I should have my ffl in a week or two. Never would have guessed this would be the first thing to try to figure out but something has to be the first.
