This is an interesting subject. I would have to say that for the most part, as an Arizona resident and a hunter most of the monument designations have been fine. Saguaro NM has been a disaster for the desert sheep since it tied AZGFD's hands on creating and maintaining water catchments. But...
This is already becoming unbearable! Is this even legal? Is a billionaire son of a president allowed to take our public land tags? I don't know if the Ruskies hacked the election but they better not touch this! :p

Had a very similar thing happen to us several years ago. We had a cliff on the left side and a cliff wall on the right. Truck has broken the tire and rim clean off and was immobile, nobody around(it was a dodge too, go figure). Impossible to get around. First took off the tailgate and set it...
Got my ballot last week and mailed it in the following day. Really is easy and convenient. This year I would imagine going to a polling station is a lot like waiting in line for a porta-potty at the Phoenix Open.
Congrats to everyone with a tag!
4 big fat red boxes for me. I try to apply for hunts with easier odds but still just can't catch a break. Who knows maybe one year I'll get them all at once. It's hard to live so close to NM, yet be so far away...
You can login https://onlinesales.wildlife.state.nm.us/login
Go to "My Purchases" and click on "View Receipt" under Game Hunt Combo and see a copy of your $65 hunting license. It will show "Refund Requested: Yes (or No)"
I'd be curious to know as I can buy the license and hope it doesn't mean...
Probably depends on when he applied. Could have submitted a paper app to correct but postmarks don't count. As a NR that means you need to apply online at least 3 or 4 days in advance, and catch your mistake.
Sneakem, just cancel your credit card in the next few weeks before the actual draw. When they go to charge it and it doesn't work you won't get drawn. Don't answer or reply to their attempts to contact you for a different payment metbod. Better to lose 1 or 2 points than waste a bunch of...
Don't like the idea, but...
Arizona State Trust lands are not “public lands”, as are Federal lands under the management of the U.S. Forest Service or the Bureau of Land Management. Federal “public lands” are managed for the benefit and use of the public, while State Trust lands are managed for...
Thanks CMC. I have emailed my Representative Kirkpatrick a few times regarding this. Also took her survey she emailed to constituents. Seems to be falling on deaf ears.
Did you fill your Buffalo tag yet?
Buzz, thanks for your dedication and hard work for all sportsmen that are fortunate enough to hunt in Wyoming. Most of us, including myself, will never reach and excel at the level of involvement that you have. I am lucky to visit Wyoming every year for some form of recreation and think it is...
AZGFD's previous response to this idea...
PHOENIX – Citing a long list of concerns, the Arizona Game and Fish Commission today (May 11) voted to oppose the proposed Grand Canyon Watershed National Monument, which as envisioned would encompass 1.7 million acres of northern Arizona.
The Game...
mixedbag,
Consider an AZ youth deer+javelina tag. Yearly license for a non-resident youth is $5. Can get an overlapping November rifle deer tag($40) and javelina tag($30) and shoot whatever you see first!. Or just a youth rifle javelina tag in January for $35. $75 for a non-resident...
Opportunity Risk – Hunting deer and javelina in AZ in January. Can there possibly be a better OTC hunt than “any antlered deer” in the rut and a coinciding javelina tag? You already buy the NR license every year, so adding another $430 in tags for a great show is nothing! No more beautiful...
While hunters fight amongst themselves over petty technicalities the Defenders of Wildlife continue their offensive.
Does anyone here actually think this is the last wolf lawsuit?
