Finally first Elk hunt, harder than you think!!!
I agree with both guys above. Dress warm and be where the elk are going to be before light and or before dark. The weather will help them stay out later and come out earlier in the afternoon. Take a thermos with something warm in it if need be. Good luck- Deerhunter6250

Unit 2 Wyoming elk
I drew my one and only general elk tag and researched the heck out of the units I liked. I have a plan A and a plan B but my plan C was going to be Unit 2. Colorado Unit 2 Bull Muzzy tag
I been there 5 times over the last 12 years and I think there are less elk in general every time I go there and not as many big ones. Could be weather related each year also. Last year I know a guide that went and he never filled his tag because he was looking for a 360 bull and couldn't find one.- Deerhunter6250

I am on this sight daily. I had injuries resulting with me in a wheel chair for 3 months last year I turned in the three tags that I drew but I still helped people including my friend in unit 2.
