I use the outdoor edge. I like the handle better and the blades seem a bit more sturdy. I always carry a fillet glove with me now when hunting. one wrong slip with any of those knives and youre in for a rough time. Told my dad the first time he was using it be careful its like a razor blade...
I think you answered your own question. If its not much heavier and would take a long time to make the trip back to get it. For me its a no brainer im carrying a pack i can haul it all out with. If you are close to the truck take the smaller one.
I got asked to go with a long time family friend to help him fill his once in a lifetime ND elk tag. Without hesitation i said yes. The badlands will always be one of my favorite places. Having my own tag out there and helping a cousin get one a few years back we had a sort of a game plan...

My chiropractor makes custom insoles. HE will mold my foot in foam and send them off to be made. I know there are online companies that do the same. I have terrible feet and the store bought ones never worked for me. The custom ones work wonders for me!
Does this change from state to state i wonder? As a Weed officer i have the right to go on any land in my jurisdiction if i feel there is a problem out there. I do not need permission to do so. Now i always contact the landowners first before i go out there. Makes the conversations a lot...
NL for sure!! I would be pulling the trigger this year if i had a worthy tag to justify it. I spent some time comparing the two my friend had NL is worth it in my opinion.
Furthest 42 yards, shortest 3 yards. recovered all but one. Tracked it for 3 miles on the last day in the snow blood the whole way, not a lot but enough to keep the trail. then it disappeared. All of these are whitetail. Most shots are around 25 yards for me. Last years went the least...
