    Point Scheme

My wife and I started applying at the same time for Wyoming. I ended up drawing a tag with a couple friends and she kept applying. She's now at 13 and I'm at 5. We 'could' blend points at 9 and have a great hunt. More than likely though, I'll draw her in a separate zone and then go back in a...

    Sheep taxidermist

I've seen some great work from Roger's as well. I'd give Phil Soucy a jingle and ask who he recommends in the state. He is an excellent taxidermist and I'd value his opinion greatly in that regard.

    Considerations between Red Desert/Thermopolis Choices

That sounds really cool for sure!!! I wish you all the luck. Would love to see some pics of the country around there if you wanted to share. Having the points my wife has we obviously want to draw a great unit given the chance we will never hunt it again. As I said trophy quality has gotta be...

    Book recommendations?

Huge vote for American Buffalo by Rinella. Was educational and interesting, and super entertaining. I'll be reading it again.

    Target choices

I have a Rhinehart for most of my shooting, and then a cheaper Cabelas one for broadhead use. That Rhinehart is damn near indestructible and holds arrows almost too well lol.

    Considerations between Red Desert/Thermopolis Choices

Hey All, Not a post about 'trophy size' or 'where we could kill the best buck' as I'm sure any of the zones that we pick are going to be similar for trophy quality if we hunt hard and give us a really good opportunity at a great hunt. Wife will be going into 2020 with 13 points in Wyoming...

Issue with floating the sight pin and release timing

Listening to Dudley is a great resource for sure. I was a 'trigger slammer' for a while. Shot really great at targets and 3d doing it. And then missed a lot of great critters when hunting with the same approach. I shoot a hinge now and its been far and away the best thing I've done for my...

    2019 Wyoming Unit Quotas

Good to see the numbers. Had considered drawing my wife in a zone that opened Sept 8th last year but this year opens on the 14th, pushing back the ability to make a hunt work before I fly in for moose up north. Really was hoping it might work but at least knowing far enough ahead I can plan...

    Best house siding??

Interesting timing to see this come up as I've thought about siding a bit in the past month with some recent roof/siding repairs I've had done on my place. I have 1994 vinyl siding on my current home, and was looking at re-siding with either vinyl or hardie board. Wondering on a DIY type...
