My wife's buck from 2 years ago...searched hard and couldn't find that next 'calibre' of a buck that year, but put it together on this buck and snuck in on him in his bed.
Gotta love a trip when the fishing is 'average' and you end up with a beauty like that!
Hoping to hit up Pyramid on a trip to Sheep Show....seems like a pretty amazing place.
Quackillr is on the money with his post lol.
I've chased them before with minimal spreads and it can get frustrating quickly. Going this year to SK and hunting with a guide for the spring hunt for a couple days, really excited to see how a hunt goes with a really big setup!
Hey All,
Tarptent SS1 (2016 version) in excellent condition. Used for about one trip per year sometimes with an overnight trip mixed in. Always dried out perfectly and cleaned well. Was seam sealed when new using their kit.
Solid wall version which is nice for colder weather but still...
If you ever need a guest down your way, let me know! I'm in BC along the Idaho border but love chasing any cool birds, especially later season plumage! I hunt Alberta/SK a bit as well and glad to have a guy up here to do some hunting in return.
Wow heck of a buck!!! Awesome character, great colour cape as well. Did you score it at all? Curious on length and mass with those big hooks like that.
Awesome story so far!!!
Having a tag like that is sure a blessing and a curse at times (or can feel like it) with the amount of pressure that we seem to put on ourselves to find the 'right' ram or a ram that's big enough to fill that quality of tag. I know several people who have drawn Cadomin...
I have a Black Gold 5 pin right now but kinda miss having the single pin for the ability to practice at longer ranges or shoot more extreme 3D shoots. I had a single pin Ascent Verdict but like the basic/clean lines of a 5 pin.
I may go to the new Mountain lite as I like how small it is...
