Get either the Kowa 553 or check out the Leupold Gold Ring HD 12-40x60mm. I was between these two options when upgrading spotters last year and have been very happy with the Gold Ring I got.- PorterHouse

I can’t see feces through this brick…
Leupold Gold Ring HD 12-40x60mm. I got mine as a Like New Demo for under a grand. 12” long and weighs less than 2.5 lb. Same glass they use in the SX-5s. No it’s not alpha glass, but it’s significantly better than the SX-4 that it replaced. I’ve been very pleased with it.- PorterHouse
