Maybe so. I just knew the big difference was battery illumination versus tritium and fiber optics with the Accupoints.
Regardless, I don’t think you could go wrong with one of the Trijicon offerings.
If I was in the market today, I’d be getting one of their Ten Miles.
Yes, I will but haven't yet. It was so warm that day (got up to like 85) that I was more concerned with getting him broken down and caped out.
I guess we'll find out next summer after I get him back from the taxidermist.
2023 has been good to me (first bow kill, first mule deer, biggest whitetail to date) and it’s not lost on me that seasons like this don’t come around all that often. To say I’m feeling very grateful is an understatement!
Thanks for reading.
I don’t even put the binos back in my chest harness, I just dump them in my Dad’s lap. I get the gun up, get on the deer and take the safety off (already had a round in the chamber). He has worked to the middle of the shooting lane and has stopped on his own watching all of the other deer...

Maybe I just save my pennies and get something in that $2000-$3000 range.
I've looked through probably a half dozen different thermal units that fall into that $2k-$4k...
