This is something I need to work on. I always try to set myself up for success by being somewhere I can go prone which I feel very confident in out to distances most here would call unethical. This has worked very well for me........so far.

Can you not track that Garmin Inreach mini that was stolen and see where it is? Or the watch for that matter?
There has to be a way to track that stuff since its a GPS device.
In my experiences, the SM people seem to care more about posting it on social media than the actual hunt/experience. That's where the problem lies for me.
