Ordered the 14x15 Davis package today. Upgraded to the large stove and added a baffle. Some high wind stakes, just in case. Pumped. Will test it out at our first annual turkey camp this spring.
Thanks all for the help. Pete
Long A to A and forgiving brace height make for a great bow. Ya, new technolgy makes it easier to shoot short A to A bows with stupid brace heights. But the old rule still applies.
Government said nothing to worry about. It's all good. Even though they dont know what it is. Kind of funny the entire nation had cell phone outages though. That's some coincidence right there.
I'm about to order a 14x15 tent package from Davis. So this will include the stove. What upgrades would you recommend, for example windows, baffle for the stove, fan for stove, etc. Want to be able to use it from turkey through end of deer and elk season. Thanks Pete
Yes, good advice. I'm trying to get to around 2700 fps out if the muzzle, as long as my accuracy is good. But I at least feel better knowing that worst case I've got something that could work and is quite accurate.
Been a year and I still haven't pulled the trigger on a second shotgun. But, I started shooting some clays a month ago. It started with a hand thrower. Could not hit a thing but had a great time. Next day bought a spring loaded launcher. Still missed everything. Next time out it started to...
308 rifle. I will not shoot past 350 yards. Prefer to stay under 300. Would these results be satifactory to you for elk?
It's only 42.5gr of imr4895 pushing a 168gr bullet, but man its accurare.
Thx Pete
Any Montanans here who could recommend a good gun shop that knows their shotguns? I'm looking for someone that can help me understand and figure out what gun fits me best. I'm interested in a gun that will mostly be used for shooting clays but can serve me well in the field. Thx Pete
The AT-125 showed up today. Okay, that is a nice little tripod. Plenty stable, weights nothing. Certainly not as durable as my other one, but hey, it's not like I throw these things around the rocks.
It is kind of funny. People on the internet calling other people on the internet keyboard warriors.
For those of you who have not done it yet. Get rid of faceplant, Twitter, Instagram and whatever else that is out there. It's liberating. I suppose the same could be said for forums like...
I've been thinking of getting my tripod setup lighter for two years. Too cheap to pull the trigger. But this past season I committed to hauling the tripod with me on every hunt (almost 30 days), and it is worth its weight in gold. Even have a saddle for it for shooting. My wife used it on...
