I don't have a problem with people who want to use crossbows during the archery season. Nor do I have a problem increasing non-resident tags for landowners. Iowa's landowner tag system is absolutely ridiculous and needs a major overhaul. Residents with 2 acres can get a landowner tag in Iowa...- Gut Shot

I'll be "that guy". Good riddance to the VX3i line. I have a bunch of Leupold scopes that I really like. I have Vari-X-III's, VX-II's, VX-III's, VX-3's and Mark 4's, I think I even have a Vari-X-IIc and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I only own one VX-3i and I would never buy... -

Yes, landowner tags are "firearm" tags and can be used in the muzzle loader season. -

I had to work Thurs. and Fri. Hit it Sat. and Sun. with no luck and, again, very little shooting. Talked to friends in other parts of the state who reported the same. Had one doe wander through Saturday afternoon. My tags are good for ML season so hopefully bad weather this weekend will help. -
