Wow that sounds like a crazy experience. I've heard the tail tastes pretty good, but haven't heard much about the rest of them. Hopefully I'll be able to try it, but with only one weekend of season left, I might have to wait until next year.- BEvans

With a small game and furbearer license, you can both hunt and trap all furbearers. I'm unaware of and specific rules against hunting beaver, but if I'm missing something please let me know! In order to trap in colorado it has to be a live cage trap above water and I don't have the slightest...- BEvans

Tag Soup How Many Have Had It
My grandfather drew a bighorn tag 3 times in Colorado and never filled any of them. On his last hunt, he decided to hire an outfitter but fell and hit his head early in the hunt and had to get airlifted out, affectively ending his bighorn dreams.- BEvans

34” wide Colorado buck
That's a crazy buck! Congrats to everyone involved. -
Western Colorado weather
Low elevations seem dry, although I haven't gone looking for muddy roads. North of Grand Junction, the roads were a mess 6000-7000 feet elevation with snow melting off. The higher elevations appear to be holding snow as of now. -

Deer - lets see em
I was was on a stalk for a bigger buck when I came across this guy. His front leg was broken and had a hard time moving around. Being the second to last day of season along with his injury made him a great candidate for the Marlin 1895. -
