    Long range ethics

Scott Satterlee posted a video yesterday on Instagram of himself shooting a cow elk at 496yds https://www.coreshooting.com/pages/scott-satterlee https://www.instagram.com/p/BmmfNO3H2BF/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=1nxjcocmu2lh7 With his credentials would that be deemed “unethical”?

    High Altitude Mask For Training?

Based on the evidence, there's no reason to buy a training mask at all. New running shoes are a good purchase for people who want to wear running shoes whether they want to run or not. If someone doesn't have a need for the purchase of new running shoes doing so would be a waste of money for...

    High Altitude Mask For Training?

I will answer this as thoroughly as possible. I'm not interested in debating training and sports science on the internet. Inevitably there's always someone who's personal experience supersedes my education. I've been training my cousin, who lives on the southeast coast of Florida, for the last...

Solo hunter - elk or mule deer more realistic

I hunt elk and deer solo. I'm not going to lie, hunting in grizzly country alone, is scary. It can take me a few days to pack out an elk.

What does "Being in shape" mean to you?

Maybe coincidence? I've never seen anything usher in altitude sickness like even low to moderate alcohol consumption.

    Off season practice

A couple of years ago I won an unknown distance match with targets from 200+ to beyond 1100yds. Over 95% of my practice leading up to that match was 1/4" dot drills at 25yds and 1/2 dot drills at 50yds with my .22LR and a basic 4x32 scope.

    Lazy Friends

FWIW - I have "lazy friends" or more accurately, less committed, right here in Wyoming. I do all of my ruck training with my dog, most of my scouting and shooting practice with my lady and my dog. I generally hunt alone. I figure it's only a matter of time before I end up as grizzly scat. LOL!
