    CO RFW & Public Land

Jorgy, a Google search on this very topic is how I found this merry little band of misfits known as Hunt talk. In 2010 I was setting up a hunt something very much like Randy had planned. Had a guy lined up to fly me and another guy out of Steamboat. He made a call to the NF office to check on...

    CO landowner tag allocations

If you want to test that theory, buy an OTC tag in one of the zones with a RFW operation and then legally access some landlocked Public ground locked up in RFW and see how that works out for you. Like I said earlier maybe this has changed, but I know for a fact this is how it was just a...

    CO landowner tag allocations

There's alot to not like about RFW but as a NR the one that really chaps my a$$ is that landowners can receive vouchers for public ground. Then they can stop public land hunters from legally entering and hunting that public land. I completely support a states right to manage its wildlife, but...

    CO landowner tag allocations

If you do a little sniffing around about what those ranches receive VS. what they ''give back''you might feel a little differently.

    Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society Auction

Lets us know how it goes. The majority of us out here are just dreamers anyway. I'm not sure how excited I am right now to assist a State that doesn't give two shits about me or others like me. Probably just sour grapes on my part. This too shall pass.................... I hope.

    Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society Auction

Serious question Dink. When RMBS decides on where to allocate money, what's the criteria? Does stuff like NM. yanking NR tags have any bearing on whether or not they can expect assistance?

I'll let Dustin set the opening bid. He probably has a better idea of fair market value.

    Public land fire sale

Truer words were never spoken. We really shouldn't be surprised that the mentality of the private sector corporate raiders has found its way into the public sector.'' FIRE SALE '' it all, future be damned. Why roll up your sleeves and do anything productive when you can just sell it all, make a...

Shouldn't the NC2A pay "student athletes"

Every school is different. I know that sounds like a cop out but I believe it to be true. The School that I'm most familiar with goes something like this. 360 scholarship athletes being payed for by 2 revenue producing and one revenue neutral sport(Football, Mens Basketball,Baseball). Basically...

    Skinning Knife Suggestions?

I've decided that knives are like firearms, they all have their place. Havalons are great for the backcountry. Victorinox are fine for around the house, and a fine carbon steel, leather sheath custom fits the bill when I'm in public.

Shouldn't the NC2A pay "student athletes"

True but isn't most of those monies tied directly to the research subject and the Dept. and not the Students? Of the untold Millions of research dollars that rolled into Texas A&M last year how many where based on the fact that Student X was a part of the program? Then ask, of the millions...

Shouldn't the NC2A pay "student athletes"

There is always an exception to the''Rule'' isn't there. Google's awesome isn't it?;)

Shouldn't the NC2A pay "student athletes"

A quick question..................How much revenue, other than their own tuition does the average student ( you know the one with 30 years of loan payments) generate for a School?

Shouldn't the NC2A pay "student athletes"

Just so we are clear. You guys realize that athletic scholarships are paid by the athletic dept. and not the College itself. Since the athletic dept's are footing the bill for these Student athletes, it's only logical they they want a bigger piece of the pie, they are helping to create.
