My new HOWA (inbound)
Mine has a VX3i 3.5-10x40 Windplex ( thanks Predator Optics ). I wanted the Talleys, but my shop was out and I was impatient. Went with a very similar DNZ set up ( lightweight, 4 screws per ring, integrated ring/base ), happy with them so far and I believe price was similar. Medium height... -

I love mine in .308. Finished with the break in and working up a good load with 165 gr Accubonds, so I can send in to Leupold and get my CDS dial :D -

Wallow experiences?
I have had some good luck on or near wallows. Got this fella about a week after these photos, ended up arrowing him after a bugle battle as I was walking into the wallow, just a few 100 yards away. -

Fresh Tracks in Idaho??

Got my Howa Multicam
Took 60 days on a special order through my local shop, but rifle arrived today. Caliber is .308, standard barrel contour. Fit and finish is definitely better than expected on a $600 rifle, barrels sits dead center in channel, no gaps between stock and barreled action. Cerakote is uniform... -

Overly dramatic Eastman's
