Thanks for all the useful information, i had a look on Boyd’s website earlier the stock I want is there and could be mine for 185 USD but they will not internationally ship anything over 100 USD (i hope someone will correct me on that!).
Now that is a bummer!
So the quest continues
For the last 10 years over here in the UK I have shot a left handed a Ruger M77 Mk2, now this beloved 270 win of mine has done a lot of work and the factory stock is looking tired and I would love to get a synthetic stock for it.
Now this is what I know -
No chance of getting one in the UK...
No not barley Richard it’s oil seed rape and it’s a pain to shoot in, the stalks are tall and tough and will deflect a bullet, I have been predator hunting (red fox) for the last week to help the farmer who releases pheasants and French partridge for drive hunting and these foxes are hiding in...
Perfect thanks, Heidi is a Bavarian from the KBGS in Germany the original breed club, I spend as much time as the wife will let me tracking on the drive hunts over there.
She’s like a spaniel on acid 90% of the time and lives for me and the work.
We are quite lucky there are no major predators so if I have to travel 4-5 hours or 100plus miles to track, leaving it over night is no Problem, it’s amazing how many misses turn out to have an animal at the end of 3-400m or even a km or more!
I live for for my dogs and tracking.
Heidi is...
Muntjac and Chinese
Ok folks a few pic's of Chinese water deer and muntjac, I have been lucky enough to secure the hunting on a 600 acre farm that surrounds my home, I have 7 stands selectively positioned for success.
Ok some upside down CWD bucks
A lovely pair representative muntjac...
A few words about my self, I am and avid hunter of deer, wild boar and I have 15 years experience of tracking wounded deer and spent a lot of time tracking wounded game with my dog Heidi all over the UK.
I shoot 270win and 30-30win.
My good friend Richard Jackson aka Devon deer on this Site...
