Thanks everyone, that helps a lot. Ive seen the hokas with the "high stack" (new term to me) and never tried them. I used to roll ankles easily so I stay away from stuff that could cause it.
Been looking at brooks but sounds like they have very high praises from y'all. Will see what I can...
Curious what you guys are wearing for running shoes. Im not a runner but would like to be. Luckily im not too out of shape, 5' 10", 190lbs, just never ran much. Any recommendations?
My feet arent in the best shape either, recovered from a tear in my second toe knuckle ligament on my right...

Watch out, Im float'n some new gear next year. Is this legal in wilderness areas?
A whole lot of regurgitated stupid wrapped up in one nuts head. Read her piece of "journalism" next to my roaring hot wood stove, siping some nice hot coffee. Heres her "resume"...
My moneys on she would fit in well in downtown bozeman, but not around a real campfire in the woods.
I missed your post because I blocked you too. The way you talk to people on HT and on Rokslide was demeaning and disrespectful, typical of immature people online. I doubt you would speak like that to people in person, it wouldnt sit well with most of us. It actually disheartened me to learn...
Through the rental websites, the renter has to buy insurance which covers all liability and any damages, as long as I do my part of annual maintenance. So that adds a layer of protection. We do not rent to people personally or without insurance. I have let a few close friends borrow it though.
I met with the original owner once to do some insurance work. Wish I had met him with the knowledge I have now instead of back then. Nice guy, lots of kids, lots of big elk on the wall.
Ive had more issues with the RV falling apart on its own then people destroying it. Ive had a handful of people cause minor damage to it, 90% of those events happened when people towed it themselves. Including...

Main job is an insurance broker focused on tax mitigation, asset protection, succession and estate planning. Lots of numbers and paperwork but I like it.
That lead to offers to invest in small companies, so I have my hands in multiple businesses that have grown quite well. Those are my...
Ive looked for it but cannot find it. What exactly is the @mtmiller pushup workout?
Im limited in what I can do with my injuries right now but I can do pushups and air squats. Slowly rehabbing back into weights and harder workouts. Cant even do a pull-up due to a bicep injury.
Great to know about the costs of leaving taxidermy. Hope you guys going on an African hunt have an amazing adventure.
An African safari has always been a dream hunt of mine. Specifically for warthog, crocodile, gemsbok, and cape buffalo. Never had a desire to shoot (and pay the huge fee) an...
Ive had back issues since I was young, and the recent ones were really bad. Highly recommend a good chiropractor if possible. Mine has done wonders for me and when I tweak it, he can have it back in position where theres no pain. Still takes time to fully heal and still have to be careful...
Will interrupt this roast to just share my opinion.
Trophy hunting is a good thing. Literally won over an anti-hunting tree hugger in a very civil discussion with this point - Trophy hunting generally targets the oldest male animals, not the young, and not females. As hunters, all animals...
