Spent last week in Northern Quebec with three friends. We ran two boats. Boated 626 walleyes. One day a friend and I boated 107. Typical Canadian Shield Walleyes - 16”- 25”. Search for a school with bottom bouncers then jig them.- F250

Vermont has a 200’ no wake rule. That’s 200’ from any other boat (anchored, drifting or in motion) or shoreline. Using a laser range finder and tucking in behind a bridge or large boat was a great enforcement technique. Just show the judge the range finder… yup - guilty !!- F250

Oh, one more : landed in Montreal coming home from a caribou hunt. My three meat boxes arrived with me. My rifle and all my clothes arrived several days later !! -

21 hours of straight through driving would suck. But my experience is airlines also suck : Landed in Utah for an elk hunt to begin the following day - my rifle was finally located in NYC. Landed in Montreal on my was home from a hunt- my rifle was finally located in Los Vegas. Loaded three... -
