    Yea the 416 Remington does it all! Be glad to ship you some as I have plenty, the 400 grain solid should not do too much pelt damage on Coyotes and the shock of a near miss might leave them stunned for a second shot.

    Go 308, I have found ammo available from Africa to New Zealand. It is probably the most forgiving caliber to start reloading if you go that direction. Ammo very available almost anywhere at ok prices even today (was in two pawn shops that had 308 factory on the shelf this weekend at $30 a box)...

    Yes they are there and tend to push animals into 76.Not worried as likely no early rifle in 77, before us it will be bow and muzzle loader.

    I have both and they are VERY on point, most WFR (Wilderness First Responder) require 40 hours in field work and cost runs anywhere from $300-700. Get a good wilderness first aid book as a start.

    An Israeli compression bandage would be a good addition along with a syringe to irrigate debris from a puncture wound and a 2 oz topical antiseptic. I made up a package and then shrunk it in a food vacuum sealer and it weighs less than 1 lb and very compact.

    Thanks for the real hunting input, inside the unopened box was a Midway tag saying they were an overrun. They still appear in the Sierra catalog at $44 a hundred so someone must be using them. Semi pointed with a tapered jacket, I guess I need to satisfy my curosity and load a few to test.
