Hi all, thanks for all your comments. Went and looked at Z3, Z5 &Z6. Z6 was nice but had quite poor eye relief when I looked through it, Z5 was the heaviest but very nice. Backcountry navigation for a newby!
Boy that takes me back to when I was a school kid on a trip in Wales. "Setting the map" we called it. A skill once learnt never forgotten and has got me out of some tricky places in Scotland. Good to see that GPS has not overtaken the good old tried and tested ways of map and compass.- Big Ears

How do you choose?
Looks an idea. Do you just take the lumbar pack when you hunt and if you get lucky hang the meat then go back to camp for the pack to Extract the meat?- Big Ears

This is from the range yesterday. Working up a load for my 30-06 using 180gr nosler bullets. The load was 56gr IMR4350, and the seating depth the same.
