    Thanks guys. No harley- do you find that Kimber300WM hard to hang onto, shoot well? I had that lwt 338WM I had Mag Na Ported, it kept it out of my face, but that could have been stock design.

    Trigger 3.5# Disconnenctor, Ameriglo Night sights, I've used a couple different makes of aftermarket barrels in .357 Sig, .40 and 10mm. I like the plug in hole in the grip too. I never, ever had or saw any "Glock Kaboom".

    Preferred .300 Mag Elk Loads You Use?

    I finally got in my components I wanted to try. RWS brass, R26, Barnes 175 LRX. I was able to seat these out to a C.O.A.L. of 3.5" and still start out .050 from the lands. I hope they shoot as well ( trying for 74gr or so) as they look! This 175 LRX is an impressive looking bullet at any rate, ha.

    I've owned 24 & 26" 338WM/340W/338 RUM but only one 22" ( 338 Federal) I like 26 for hunting more open areas, but 24 is fine. 22" feels like a 'carbine" in my hands, but I'm tall. Go 26" as said by1-pointer and if it doesn't handle right, cut it off! I think horseback hunts require more...
