2nd opinion stock barrel movement
I like to use a deep socket on an extension wrapped in sand paper. You can choose whatever size socket fits the barrel channel best and size up and down accordingly. The older M70 triggers are one of the best factory triggers around. A spring and some stone work makes them break like glass.- cahunter805

2nd opinion stock barrel movement
Common problem. You can bed the action with the barrel centered in the barrel channel. Then after it’s cured you can sand any spots that hit so it’s free floated. Some guns shoot better with a pressure point in the stock though.- cahunter805

Bleaching skulls
I use the hair cream also. Brush it onto the skull, then take some paper towel and lay it on the skull. Brush some more cream on the paper towel and then wrap the skull in Saran Wrap and leave it in the sun a few days.- cahunter805

Lead Sled Issues
What brand of scope? Lead sleds are junk and very hard on stocks, scopes and mounts. They also don’t allow for good cheek weld or recoil management. Are all 5 guns shooting bad? Either way you seem on the right track with using a front bag or rest and rear bag. Get a good solid setup and test...- cahunter805
